External examinations are subject to strict regulations and students must familiarise themselves with the following documents produced by the Joint Council for Qualifications (JCQ).
First day of public exams: Thursday 8th May 2025
Last day of public exams: Thursday 19th June 2025
First day of public exams: Monday 12th May 2025
Last day of public exams: Tuesday 24th June 2025
The above dates are for public written exams and do not include assessments/exams such as Art and MFL speaking exams. The dates of these exams will be provided seperately.
Please be aware that the following dates have been designated as ‘contingency days’ by the awarding bodies. These are additional exam dates which will be used in the event of national or significant local disruption to examinations:
11th June 2025 (pm)
25th June 2025 (am/pm)
All examination students should therefore ensure that they are available until 25th June 2025 should there be exceptional circumstances that require an awarding body to reschedule an examination.

GCSEs: 21st August 2025
Please note that we are unable to email results to students. If a student is unable to collect their results on the day, they can nominate someone to collect them on their behalf and further details will be provided nearer the time.
