Happy new year! I hope that all of you had a very happy Christmas (doesn’t it seem a long time ago already!) and managed to enjoy the festivities as best you could with your friends and families.

This edition is again full of some of the exciting things that have been happening here at Holcombe Grammar in the past few weeks. I hope you will enjoy reading about our charity work, trips and competitions that we have been running this term.

Year 11 have received their prelim results and are working hard in lessons and after school sessions to address weak areas in their knowledge that the prelims have identified. Year 13 have only just completed their prelims and are awaiting their results and Year 12 have their first set of prelims next week.
