Students and staff at Holcombe Grammar School are celebrating receiving the UNICEF Rights Respecting Schools Bronze Award!

In line with new government guidance we are changing our strategies again from Thursday 27th January.

An update on information relating to the school re-opening this week. As you know, today (Tuesday 4th January) is a pre-planned staff training day with students returning for the start of term three on Wednesday 5th January.

Happy new year! I hope that all of you had a very happy Christmas (doesn’t it seem a long time ago already!) and managed to enjoy the festivities as best you could with your friends and families.

At the end of last term, students were challenged to create an altar for a famous deceased person for El Día de los Muertos in the Day of the Dead Competition.

During this years Black History Month, Year 13 students participated in an economics essay competition. All students who participated provided fantastic responses that showed genuine thought and research that was beyond the requirements of their courses.
